Personalized Supports Initiative
The Personalized Support Initiative (PSI) provides an individualized and personalized approach to meeting the needs of the individual by coordinating existing community supports with the goal of maintaining or increasing their independence. The PSI provides services to adults who have both significant challenges with day-to-day living and either a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
BeConnected is approved to provide PSI supports in the following categories:
- Semi-Independent Living
- Home Share
- Staffed Living
- Community Inclusion
- Homemaker Supports
- Respite
- Host Agency
- Services to Individuals with Complex Health Care Needs
- Community-Based Harm Reduction / Low Barrier Support
- Aboriginal Culturally Appropriate Services
BeConnected provides PSI services by contract out of our Victoria Office to serve the South Island and our Duncan Office to serve the Central Island.
